It didn't quite rain on their parade! The wet stuff stayed away until the parade had finished at Torbay Pride on Saturday 7 September. 

For the first time in the Airshow’s history, there will be a special opening night on the Friday before the event (31 May 2024). Members of the public are invited to Paignton Green from 6pm to 10pm where they can kick off the weekend and enjoy a great line-up of live music headlined by The Barefoot Bandits. As with the rest of the Airshow, the opening night is free to attend and there will be plenty of food and drink stands to choose from.

Torbay Council has made the news with its felling of a number of palm trees from the Italian Garden along the seafront in Torquay. It has since made the following statement and released a CGI graphic of how the gardens will look next year.

The St Marychurch Yarn Fairies have decorated St Mary the Virgin Church in Torquay, with knitted displays to mark Remembrance Day.
