Thousands of visitors flocked to the 2026 Devon County Show in Exeter on Friday as warm sunshine and clear skies helped draw large crowds to one of the South West’s biggest agricultural events.
Despite inevitable traffic delays on roads surrounding the showground, spirits remained high as enthusiastic farmers, exhibitors and performers welcomed visitors for a packed day of livestock competitions, equestrian displays, animal demonstrations, shopping stalls and live music.
From prize-winning cattle and sheep to ferrets, goats, dogs and pigeons, the event celebrated the best of rural life and British farming, with families filling the avenues and arena seating throughout the day.
Our gallery captures the atmosphere across the showground, from the Grand Parade of Livestock and Atkinson Action Horses performances to bustling trade stands and sun-soaked crowds enjoying the Devon countryside.
