The sun was shining, crowds turned out in their thousands, and Tiverton was alive with the sights, sounds and smells of one of Devon’s much-loved agricultural events as the Mid Devon Show 2026 welcomed visitors for a fantastic day celebrating farming, countryside life and family entertainment.

Held at Knightshayes in Tiverton, the event enjoyed good weather, helping create a brilliant atmosphere as families, farmers and visitors from across the region came together to enjoy a packed programme of attractions.
From the moment visitors arrived, there was plenty to see and do, with busy show rings, livestock displays, trade stands, food stalls and entertainment filling the site. The show provided a fantastic showcase for Devon’s farming heritage, with impressive displays of cattle, sheep and other animals, alongside young farmers and exhibitors proudly presenting their prize-winning livestock.
Visitors were treated to a huge variety of attractions throughout the day, including spectacular arena entertainment, live music performances, dog shows and countryside displays. The Kangaroo Kid Display Team thrilled the crowds with their high-energy quad bike stunt show, while the world-famous British Army Red Devils Parachute Display Team delivered a spectacular aerial performance above the showground.
There was also plenty for animal lovers to enjoy, with alpacas, birds of prey and a wide range of farm animals proving popular with visitors of all ages. The show celebrated everything from traditional farming skills to modern agricultural machinery, including impressive combine harvester displays showcasing the scale and technology behind today’s farming industry.
Families enjoyed a full day of entertainment, with a funfair providing rides and thrills, alongside craft stalls, local producers, refreshments and plenty of opportunities to discover more about rural life in Devon.
With thousands of visitors enjoying the sunshine, the Mid Devon Show once again proved why it remains a highlight of the summer events calendar, bringing together the very best of farming, entertainment and community spirit in the heart of Devon.
