Bastille - Songs from The First 15 Years

Wed, 5 Nov 2025, Plymouth Pavilions

Bastille is an idiosyncratic dance-pop quartet formed in London in 2010 by singer-songwriter Dan Smith. Originally a solo project, the band expanded after Smith met drummer Chris “Woody” Wood, later joined by Kyle Simmons and Will Farquarson. Named after Bastille Day, Smith’s birthday, they signed to EMI in 2011 and found international success with their 2013 debut Bad Blood, featuring hits like Pompeii and Flaws. The album topped UK charts and earned a BRIT Award and Grammy nomination.

Their follow-up albums Wild World (2016), Doom Days (2019), and Give Me The Future (2022) all charted highly, with the latter exploring futuristic themes. They’ve collaborated with artists like Craig David and continue to evolve, launching a four-part project titled & in 2024.

Bastille will play Plymouth Pavilions in November.
