Torquay was awash with colour, music and celebration as thousands of people gathered for Torbay Pride 2026 on Saturday, June 13.
Blessed with glorious sunshine throughout the day, the event attracted huge crowds to Torre Abbey Meadows, where visitors enjoyed a vibrant mix of entertainment, community activities and one of the biggest Pride celebrations the Bay has seen.
The colourful parade through the streets of Torquay proved a highlight, with participants proudly carrying rainbow flags, banners and creative costumes as spectators lined the route to cheer them on. The procession brought a fantastic atmosphere to the town, showcasing the diversity and inclusivity that Torbay Pride is known for.
Back at the main event site, visitors explored a vast range of stalls featuring local businesses, charities, community organisations, food vendors and attractions. There was something for everyone, with families, friends and visitors of all ages enjoying the welcoming atmosphere.
The main stage featured a diverse mix of entertainment throughout the day. Highlights included Beth Jobber's Xtina Live Experience, celebrating the hits of Christina Aguilera, alongside performances from local favourite Nikita Louise and Pride regular Kyle Finn. Audiences also enjoyed energetic routines from Dance Dynamix, the Fleetwood Mac-inspired Simply Stevie, Disconnex as Becky Hill, Boy Gorgeous, live band The Shrine, and local singer Grace Messer. The varied line-up ensured there was something for every musical taste and helped keep the crowds entertained from start to finish.
One of the most popular attractions was the fun dog show, which drew plenty of laughs, applause and four-legged stars as proud owners showcased their beloved pets in a series of light-hearted categories.
With excellent weather, fantastic entertainment and a strong sense of community spirit, Torbay Pride 2026 was a resounding success and a memorable day for everyone who attended.
