Woolacombe Beach

Woolacombe is a lovely seaside town with a huge sandy beach. The beach is popular with surfers and families and there are plenty of facilities and parking.

There is a 3 mile long stretch of sand renowned for it’s cleanliness, water quality and facilities.

Woolacombe village itself is a lively area with pubs, restaurants and places to stay. Visitors of all ages will find plenty to do away from the beach.

The area provides opportunities for water sports such as surfing and body boarding, come and enjoy the great waves and clean water.

Woolacombe has been named the UK’s Best Beach for the second year in a row by TripAdvisor users in 2016. Ratings given to the stretch of golden sand were higher than those given by reviewers to any other UK beach on the site over a 12-month period.
