Guitarist John Etheridge enjoys a huge reputation in the jazz world. British Jazz Award-winning Derek Nash – bandleader, composer, arranger, record producer and engineer – is one of the UK’s busiest jazz musicians. He is leader of six bands, each with its own unique sound and featuring some of the top jazz musicians in the UK today. Derek has been a full-time member of the Jools Holland Rhythm & Blues Orchestra since 2004 and is also a member of the Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion....

UK-based guitarist Nicolas Meier has carved a reputation out as one of the world’s most original and uniquely talented guitarists. Drawing from a love of Turkish, Eastern & Middle Eastern music, Flamenco, Tango and more — all mixed with jazz — Meier’s versatility and musical fluency extends well beyond that, even. (… so much so, that his considerable talents drew the attention of rock guitar legend, Jeff Beck, who made Nicolas a mainstay in The Jeff Beck Group — carrying him on two world tours during the course of the last several years.)

Meier originally hails from Switzerland; born in 1973, to parents who are great lovers of the arts....

This exciting quartet features some of the UK’s leading jazz musicians playing a programme of their own distinctive take on some classic and contemporary jazz material along with recent compositions from Freeman himself. Ralph Freeman, now based in London, founded the St Ives Jazz Club in 1996.  As well as performing with his own London based trios and quartets, he has worked with and supported many of Britain’s leading jazz musicians. Steve Waterman studied at Trinity College of Music, since when has worked regularly on the British and European jazz scene with John Surman, Andy Sheppard, Tony Coe, Carla Bley, Don Weller and many others....

Steve Tilston is rightly acknowledged within the world of folk and contemporary music as one of the UK’S most enduring and multi-talented singer/songwriters . As a journeyman folk singer and musician he’s been in the business since the early 1970’s and in the intervening decades has enjoyed creative partnerships with major folk figures from Bert Jansch to Jez Lowe. Although a songwriter he also has an ear for the folk tradition with classic songs like Slipjig and Reels, Here’s to Tom Paine, the Naked Highwayman and The Reckoning....
