Based in Dartington, Devon, Things Happen Here is an independent taproom, venue, and record label run by three beer and music enthusiasts. Alongside their second taproom, CLASH, they offer a safe, inclusive space for the community to enjoy a vast selection of craft beers and a diverse events programme.
Located at Meadowbrook and The Cider Press Centre—just a short walk or cycle from Totnes—both sites are dedicated to supporting local artists and providing local jobs. Whether you are there for the music or the brews, Things Happen Here is designed for making connections and great memories.

Field System presents...Nick Hart and Tom Moore with Boss Morris
Nick Hart and Tom Moore are an English folk duo whose acclaimed debut album The Colour of Amber (2023) offers vivid interpretations of traditional songs and tunes. Combining Hart’s tenor viol and distinctive vocals with Moore’s expressive viola, alongside drones and bass from an antique church harmonium, they create an intimate yet richly textured sound rooted in tradition.
